Smoking cessation, as with any change using hypnosis, works if you want it to. If you’re having the treatment to keep your partner or family happy, or you just like smoking, then you won’t succeed. Please ensure that when you are ready to stop smoking that you are doing it for your own reasons, not for anyone else.
This treatment is not something that is “done to you”, but rather a path that you choose to follow with 100% commitment. You have to want to make the change.
Now, if you’ve tried to stop using gum, tablets, inhalers or patches, you’re still feeding the body’s addiction to nicotine, and only extending the period of withdrawal. If you failed using one of the many tablets that are available, that’s no surprise either. When you consider that all these methods address the physical addiction, but not the mental addiction… that’s where hypnosis can help! Smoking cessation sessions are split over 4 sessions. The first one addresses the issues relating to why you smoke. The second session works on removing any drivers. The third session assesses how you feel and any needs. The fourth session clearing any remaining issues. You will have the option to have a firth session as a follow-up if required.
